According to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich have added Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo to their list of potential transfer targets for the next two transfer windows.
It’s becoming increasingly likely that the Bundesliga champions will be forced to say goodbye to Dayot Upamecano at the end of the season. The France international’s name has been thrown into a centre-back tussle between Liverpool and Real Madrid, together with Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace, and Liverpool’s own Ibrahima Konate. Like Upamecano, Guehi and Konate are in the final year of their own contracts as well.
Liverpool want to keep Konate and sign Guehi, but if either of those plans doesn’t work out, reports suggest they will move for Upamecano. Real Madrid will try their best to sign one of them, looking to exploit the potential availability of three centre-backs for free next summer.
Murillo, however, is under contract with Forest until 2029, and there is no release clause. His market value is estimated at around €55million.
