Chicago wide receiver DJ Moore was taken via ambulance to a nearby hospital in the Washington area for "precautionary medical attention" following the Bears' Monday night game against the Commanders.

Per the team, Moore was expected to remain there overnight, though no announcement was made regarding his exact injury.


Moore was seen grimacing in pain after absorbing a hit along the sideline following one of his three catches during a first-quarter drive in the Bears' 25-24 victory over Washington in Landover, Md. He finished with 42 receiving yards.

Moore, 28, has 19 catches for 215 yards and one touchdown in five games this season, his third with Chicago.

He has 577 receptions for 7,746 yards and 36 scores in 119 career games (112 starts) with the Carolina Panthers and the Bears. He was selected by the Panthers with the 24th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.
