Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of forcing the opposition to join them.

Speaking during an appearance on Arise Television, Momodu alleged that the APC is cajoling and coercing opposition to join them.

Naija News reports that his submission comes after several prominent members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defected to the APC.

The Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, and his counterpart, Douye Diri, recently defected from the PDP.

Reacting to the mass defection, Momodu lamented that it seems like Nigerians have been jazzed by some politicians.

He asserted that the mass defections do not appear normal to him.

Momodu said, “The APC is cajoling and coercing opposition to join them.

“I’m beginning to feel Nigerians have been ‘jazzed’ by some politicians because the behaviour and misdemeanour do not appear normal to me.

“People who have no business whatsoever, imagine a second term governor. Where are you running to? Where are you running away from?

“For me, it’s a combination of so many things. There are those ones who want jollification. So those ones will go where the power is. You know the Federal Government of Nigeria is more powerful than the American president.”
