The NBA's G League has come to an agreement with the Next Gen Basketball Players Union (NGBPU) on a collective bargaining agreement, the two sides announced Wednesday.

The new CBA is scheduled to begin at tip off of the 2025-26 season and run for four years, through 2029. Notably, it represents a historic first, becoming the first multi-year CBA over the course of the G League's 25-year history.

Though some specifics remain unsettled, the agreement provides an opt-out to both sides following the 2027-28 season, and provides for built in salary raises for players over the course of the deal, 4.7% (to $45,000) in Year 1, with 3% raises in subsequent seasons.

Buyouts and returning player rights windows will also be reduced, while the players will also receive stronger benefit packages and better accommodations for travel.
