The TVs include HDMI and USB connectivity as well as support control from Amazon Alexa and Apple AirPlay/HomeKit. The TVs also feature a voice remote for searching the Xumo Pay system, with over over 350 free channels. Xumo is a streaming platform designed by Comcast and Charter Communications (Spectrum) and features over 250 compatible streaming apps.

Sharp sold its US TV business to Hisense in 2015, but bought it back in 2019, and has been producing TVs for the local market since.

The Sharp Aquos QLED 4K Ultra HD Smart Xumo TVs are available from now, though the in-store price may vary from Sharp's MSRP: 85-inch ($1,100), 75-inch ($750), 65-inch ($500), 55-inch ($400) and 50-inch ($350).
