Marvel fans are in for an exciting year ahead as Disney+ gears up to release a packed slate of Marvel series in 2026. The streaming platform will continue expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a mix of fresh faces, long-awaited sequels, and character-driven stories that dive deeper into the lives of both new and familiar heroes.
Let’s check out MCU’s lineup for next year.
1. Wonder Man – January 27, 2026

The year will start strong. Marvel Studios has revealed the first look at its newest series, Wonder Man, set to hit Disney+ on January 27, 2026, at 6 PM PT. The news and trailer drop come directly from Marvel’s official announcement.
The show centers on Simon Williams, a Hollywood stuntman and actor who suddenly ends up with superpowers. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II takes on the lead role, bringing the classic Marvel character to life for the first time in live action.
The series is created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest.
2. ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 – March 2026

Season 2 picks up after the dramatic ending of Season 1, which saw Wilson Fisk declaring martial law and clamping down on vigilantes. Matt Murdock will now gather his own resistance to counter Fisk’s growing influence.
Fans will also see Krysten Ritter return as Jessica Jones, joining the fight, while the fate of characters like Luke Cage remains unconfirmed.
3. ‘X-Men ’97’ Season 2 – Summer 2026

The next chapter in the hit animated revival will arrive in Summer 2026.The sneak peek released at NYCC teased the introduction of the “Age of Apocalypse,” one of the most famous storylines in the X-Men comics.
Actor Ross Marquand, who appears in the upcoming season, described it as “very, very dark,” hinting that fans should brace themselves for plenty of shocking character deaths and emotional moments.
4. ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ Season 2 (Fall 2026)

Marvel Animation has officially confirmed that the second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will hit Disney+ in fall 2026.
They also confirmed that Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Daredevil, marking another crossover between Marvel’s live-action and animated projects.
Other returning characters include Norman and Harry Osborn, Doctor Octopus, Chameleon, and Scorpion. The footage also gave fans a peek at Nico Minoru discovering more about her magical powers, which are expected to play a key role in the new season.
Season 1 ended with several dramatic twists. Doctor Strange helped Spider-Man fight the Venom symbiote, which came from another dimension. Norman secretly kept a piece of the alien substance for his own research. And in a shocking reveal, Peter learned that his father, Richard Parker, believed to be dead, was actually alive and imprisoned.
5. ‘Vision Quest’ (2026)

During Marvel Studios’ panel at New York Comic Con, some first details about the series were revealed. White Vision will have all of the original Vision’s memories but will struggle with understanding emotions.
Ruaridh Mollica will appear as Vision’s and Wanda’s son named Speed. Several well-known AI characters from the MCU, including Ultron, F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and DUM-E, will make appearances and take on human forms.
