Daniel Stern, the actor famous for playing Marv in the “Home Alone” films, was taken to the hospital last week after a medical emergency at his home.

TMZ reports that the 68-year-old was rushed to the ER after the Ventura County Fire Department responded to a call in Somis, California.

Details about the medical issue have not been disclosed, but firefighters reportedly assessed Stern before transporting him to a nearby hospital.

A representative later confirmed that he has been released and is now recovering well.

Stern is widely recognized for his role as Marv Murchins, one half of the bumbling “Wet Bandits” duo in the beloved holiday movie series.

“He has been released from the hospital and is doing well,” a spokesperson told TMZ.

Fans of the classic films will be relieved to hear that Stern is okay. What do you think about this update on Daniel Stern? Share your thoughts in the comments.
