Amazon Prime Video has revealed major details for Invincible season 4, including the introduction of a new, formidable villain.
Thragg, the ruthless Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire, will be the main antagonist of the upcoming season. The character will be voiced by actor Lee Pace, known for playing Ronan the Accuser in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy films.
Amazon describes Thragg as a leader who rules through strength and cruelty, fully committed to restoring the Viltrum Empire to its former glory.
As the most powerful Viltrumite and current Grand Regent, Thragg took control following the death of the first Emperor and aims to expand the empire’s influence across the universe. His arrival in the series is expected to add serious intensity and stakes for Mark Grayson and his allies.
The streamer also dropped the first trailer for the new season at the Invincible panel during New York Comic-Con.
The preview, set at the series’ fan-favorite Burger Mart, shows Mark and Atom Eve sitting in a diner booth while chaos erupts around them. In the middle of the action, Mark reflects on his previous battles, joking, “Can you believe people used to complain that I could never win a fight?” and ends the trailer with the line, “Season 4 is nuts!”
