When’s the next Amazon Prime Day? Everything we know so far

There’s no greater feeling than getting something you’ve had your eye on for a while at a bargain price. That’s why sales events are so handy.

Events such as Amazon’s Prime Day allow Prime members to nab exclusive deals and discounts on all sorts of products, whether that’s a fancy pair of headphones or a brand new gaming laptop.

However, Prime Day sales can feel random at times, especially as Amazon tends not to reveal the dates until closer to the event.

So whether you’ve got your eye on something but don’t want to pay full price, or you want to nab some bargain Christmas presents ahead of time, we’ve got you covered. We explain all we know about the next Amazon Prime Day and when you can expect to find those all-important deals.

When is the next Prime Day?

At the time of writing, Amazon has yet to confirm when its next Prime Day or Big Deal Days sale event will take place. Having said that, we can make an educated guess based on previous years.

For example, in 2024 Amazon hosted its Prime Day sales events during the following dates:

• 20th to 25th March (Spring Deal Days)
• 16th to 17th July (Prime Day)
• 8th to 9th October (Big Deal Days)

After 9th October 2024, Amazon didn’t host another Prime-exclusive sales event until 25th to 31st March 2025, with the Spring Deal Days sale. In the meantime, however, Amazon did provide countless Black Friday deals for almost the entirety of November and even some of December too. 

With this in mind, we can expect that Amazon’s next Prime-exclusive sale won’t take place until sometime around March 2026. Although it will colloquially be known as Prime Day, officially it’ll be referred to as Spring Deal Days. 

There will, however, undoubtedly be Black Friday deals in the meantime and these are arguably more accessible as they aren’t exclusive to Prime members.

What is Prime Day?

Prime Day is Amazon’s sale event, which is exclusive to Prime members. Typically, Prime Day runs three times throughout the year, for at least two days at a time, and sees price cuts across numerous products from vacuums and air fryers to laptops and smartphones and everything in between.

When is the next Amazon sale?

Although unconfirmed by Amazon itself, the next Prime Day is unlikely to take place in 2025. Instead, we can reasonably expect to see Prime-exclusive price drops sometime in Spring 2026. 

That’s not to say Amazon won’t offer price cuts and discounts between now and then. In fact, Black Friday weekend is set to take place on 28th November to 1st December (Cyber Monday) and we’ll undoubtedly see huge deals both in the lead-up to and during the global event. The difference is that this isn’t exclusive to Amazon, as other retailers will take part.
