Nigerian comedian Zic Saloma has shared that he underwent nose surgery because he was uncomfortable with his appearance.
Naija News reports that the procedure, he said, helped him gain confidence and feel more at ease in the entertainment industry.
In a video on his Instagram page, he explained that he had lost several opportunities in the past due to how he looked, which influenced his decision to improve his facial features.
Zicsaloma also noted that people should not hesitate to use safe medical procedures to enhance their appearance if they can afford it, as it can positively affect both personal confidence and professional prospects.
He said: “I decided to undergo nose surgery because I wasn’t comfortable with my appearance. I had lost several job opportunities in the past because of how I looked. If you can afford cosmetic surgery, do it. If it will make you feel better, go for it.”
The skitmaker, in a previous video, revealed that he underwent rhinoplasty; a procedure to alter the nose in Turkey.
He mentioned that the surgery lasted over four hours and included additional procedures like a facelift.
The total cost was estimated at $11,000, covering rhinoplasty, eye rejuvenation, and facelift procedures.
He clarified that he did not pay for the surgery itself but considered it a collaboration with the hospital, covering only travel and accommodation expenses .
